The development environment for game audio is currently undergoing a major transformation.
What we at AZSTOKE will be presenting at CEDEC 2026 this year is not simply an introduction of a methodology.
The combination of incredibly realistic sound materials captured at the outdoor field studio "SKYSQUARE" and the automated API "RIGDOCKS" that instantly brings them to life on UE5, will evolve into a dedicated outdoor workflow using specialized tools, taking us to the next stage.
We will be sharing these various insights at CEDEC2026.

July 22nd (Wednesday) Day 1
15:00 - 16:00: Regular session (60 minutes)
Speakers: Kentaro Nakajima, Sarina Takeda
◆Session Content
This session will provide concrete and practical insights to overcome the limitations of traditional studio recording and general field recording.
Recording and practicing "Foley Field" beyond the limits of the studio.
In pursuit of sounds possessing "overwhelming physical energy" to match physically-based expression, we will share the recording techniques cultivated at our dedicated outdoor base, "SKYSQUARE."
1. Suppression of large-scale destructive noise and other noise generated by heavy machinery, and protection of equipment in extreme environments.
This document describes a workflow that uses an excavator as the power source and records the impact sounds emitted by a mass of several tons. It also details how to eliminate the driving noise—the biggest challenge—using the physical method of "gravity-induced fall after engine shutdown," thereby extracting pure destructive sounds.
This article presents research findings on "protective shelters" that shield recording microphones from flying debris generated during recording.
2. Operation of large-scale flame recording utilizing outdoor environments
This presentation will introduce the safety and operational insights of large-scale flame recording in outdoor settings, utilizing the fire containment capabilities of underground pits.
3. Recording infrastructure that turns bad weather to its advantage
This article explains an infrastructure design that directly connects microphones to indoor systems via underground conduits, enabling stable, high-quality recording even during thunderstorms and strong winds.
Along with listening to experimental recording results, we will discuss the prospects of outdoor recording.

August 22-24 (3 days total)
◆ Exhibition contents
RIGDOCKS , our proprietary API that drastically reduces development time, is finally fully compatible with UE5 (Unreal Engine 5).
At our booth, you can see firsthand the actual Blueprint structure that dramatically improves the efficiency of your development environment.
Furthermore, we will reveal the full scope of the "new development possibilities" that will be brought about by the fusion of "SKYSQUARE," Japan's first large-scale outdoor field studio, and RIGDOCKS, from asset collection to game implementation.
◆ Highlights
UE5 x RIGDOCKS: Creating "Next-Generation Dedicated Tool Building" Going beyond mere plugins, this cutting-edge workflow for self-building proprietary automation systems on UE5 is a must-see.
Experience the "physical mass" that defies common sense right before your eyes. Reservations have finally begun for the four vast recording categories that SKYSQUARE boasts.
You can audition recordings with overwhelming dynamics, something impossible in conventional studios, at the highest quality, simulating actual game implementation scenarios.
