We only had two days to set up the booth. Although we were a bit flustered during our first delivery, the first day of booth setup at Makuhari Messe got underway. From assembling the aluminum frames for the tables to running the wiring and laying the final tile carpet, here’s a look at how we put everything together in one go, making the most of our advance preparations.

We dismantled the completed booth, loaded it onto a truck, and headed to the venue. In this post, we introduce our two-stage dismantling method designed for easy on-site reassembly, transport making full use of a heavy vehicle license and the truck also used for SKYSQUARE, and our overnight drive to arrive a day early.

Part 2 of our booth build. We chose fabric for the walls and desk—fast to install and take down, and easy to carry and store. Here's the full run-down: outsourcing the mandatory fire-safety labels, building a fireproof desktop from 100-yen aluminum frames, wall-mounting two monitors, a 43-inch TV and Genelec speakers, converting the duct-rail lighting to plug-in power, and making our entrance company sign glow with 3D-printed LEDs.

This time, we at AZSTOKE are building our exhibition booth in-house rather than outsourcing it. We’re handling everything ourselves—from the design and procurement of materials to assembly and painting.
