[Tokyo Game Show 2026] Part 4: Day 1 of On-Site Construction! From the First Delivery to the Overall Construction Process

Booth construction log, part 4!! On-site construction is finally starting!
Hello, this is AZSTOKE. This is the fourth installment of our booth construction log for Tokyo Game Show 2026. In the previous third installment, we showed you how we dismantled the completed booth, loaded it onto a truck, and transported it overnight, arriving safely the day before the show.
And now, construction at the venue will finally begin. However, we only have two days available for construction, the 15th and 16th. We have to finish the booth within this limited time.
In this fourth installment, we'll show you a day from the initial delivery to the end of the first day of construction.
With our vehicle registration certificates up, we headed to Makuhari Messe.
The first hurdle was "loading in." In fact, loading goods into a venue was a completely new experience for us. We placed the vehicle certificate, which we had applied for in advance, into the car and headed to Makuhari Messe, feeling a little nervous.

Unloading the cargo required more physical strength than I had imagined.
We were allowed to drive our trucks up to the vicinity of our booth. However, there weren't any security guards or anything to guide us inside the venue. We ended up having to drive our trucks in wherever we could find an open spot, which was a rather forceful way to get there.
Along the way, there were numerous instances where other companies' trucks, people, and cargo were all mixed up, making it impossible to move. Nevertheless, we managed to finish unloading and move the truck to the parking lot.
Meanwhile, the staff had already begun the construction work. To avoid wasting the limited time, they divided the tasks and proceeded simultaneously.

I assembled the aluminum frame for the desk and finished it off with floor tile carpet.
First, we start with the aluminum frame for the desk. We assemble the basic structure of the booth first.

Next, we will proceed with the wiring installation. We will be especially careful here to ensure that there are no problems during operation on the day.

And finally, we lay down the carpet tiles on the floor. Since the framework and wiring were already finished, all that's left is to finish the flooring.

This is quite a painstaking process, carefully laying each piece down to ensure it doesn't shift. Just having a neatly aligned floor makes a big difference in the overall impression of the booth.

It's already come together quite nicely on the first day.
And so, the first day of construction came to an end. The fact that we had completed as much of the assembly as possible beforehand proved to be a huge advantage. Thanks to that, we were able to get a lot of shape in just the first day, and we feel a real sense of accomplishment.

Tomorrow we'll work on the details and improve the precision.
Tomorrow, we plan to make further fine adjustments to the booth to create an even more precise setup.
Through this delivery and installation process, we've accumulated a considerable amount of knowledge that can only be gained on-site. If we have another opportunity, we're confident we can create something even better than this time.
We'll make sure to finish it properly, so please look forward to the next one! 📅 Exhibition Overview
