[Tokyo Game Show 2026] Part 3: Dismantling the booth and loading it onto trucks! Making use of my heavy vehicle license to arrive the day before.

Booth construction log, part 3!! Finally, it's time to transport it to the site!

Hello, this is AZSTOKE. This is the third installment of our booth construction log for Tokyo Game Show 2026. In the first and second installments, we carried out the construction of the booth itself in-house, from assembling the frame with scaffolding pipes to installing the fabric and equipment. Thanks to everyone's efforts, the booth is now mostly complete.

And now, it's finally time to move the booth into the venue. Booth construction at the site will start on the 15th. Moreover, since the work will start early in the morning, we planned to arrive at the hotel nearest the venue on the 14th, the day before, and complete the transportation there as well.

In this third installment, we'll show you a day in the life of a completed booth, from dismantling it to loading it onto a truck and transporting it to the site.

First, we start with demolition.

For transportation purposes, the assembled booth will be dismantled. However, this doesn't mean simply taking it apart.

The dismantling process is designed in advance to be as easy as possible to assemble on-site using a "two-stage method." By making it possible to remove the upper and lower blocks as a whole, on-site assembly is simply a matter of reassembling them in the reverse order. The aim is to significantly reduce the construction time on the day of assembly.

The key is to "take it without taking it apart" as much as possible. If you disassemble it too much, it will take a lot of time to assemble it on site. So, we removed only the necessary connecting parts so that it can be transported in a complete, unassembled state.

Furthermore, we adjust the height in advance to make on-site installation easier. Doing this preparation beforehand ensures that the work on the day proceeds smoothly.

In this way, we dismantled only the necessary parts, and the disassembly was complete.

Loading onto the truck

Once disassembled, it's time to load it onto the truck. The blocks that were removed together are loaded one by one.

Incidentally, this truck is our FUSO truck, which is also used for purchasing materials for SKYSQUARE. We will be making full use of it this time as well.

And now that I've obtained my heavy vehicle license, I can drive this truck myself. I'm making good use of the qualifications I've worked so hard to get.

Secured with sheets and ropes, we set off!

Once loading is complete, cover the truck bed with a tarp and secure it firmly with ropes. Check the connections to ensure the cargo won't shift during long-distance transport, and then you're done.

With preparations complete, we finally began our journey. However, the roads were quite congested due to the time of day.

So, instead of pushing ourselves too hard, we decided to delay our departure time a little and travel during the night. Avoiding traffic jams, we finally arrived at the rest area and took a short rest.

I managed to arrive the day before, and it's all done!

Thus, after dismantling, loading, and traveling through the night, we were able to successfully arrive the day before.

Finally, it's time for our first on-site construction.

Tomorrow is finally the first day of construction at the venue. We will put all the preparations we've put in into practice for the big day. We're looking forward to seeing how effective our two-stage dismantling and assembly method will be.
