Thank you for attending Tokyo Game Show 2026! AZSTOKE booth exhibition report and behind-the-scenes

Tokyo Game Show 2026 has come to a close.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who visited the AZSTOKE booth during the event, the media who covered the event, the organizers, and everyone who supported us from setup to dismantling.
Following our appearance at CEDEC 2026 in July, we also showcased our efforts to "improve the game sound recording process" at our booth at the Tokyo Game Show.
This article summarizes everything from what we exhibited at our booth, what happened during the event, behind-the-scenes stories about our participation, to a "frequently asked questions" section for those who were interested in AZSTOKE at our booth.

Tokyo Game Show 2026 AZSTOKE Booth Exhibition Overview
Event Name: Tokyo Game Show 2026
Dates: September 17th (Thu) - 20th (Sun)
Venue: Makuhari Messe
Booth number: Business Solutions Corner [ 10-E09 ]
Exhibit contents:
RIGDOCKS: A tool to automate sound development workflows.
Outdoor field studio "SKYSQUARE"
Remote recording app "RIGDRED"
3D printed rain cover
The Tokyo Game Show is a place where not only people who "play" games, but also many people who "create" games gather. AZSTOKE exhibited at the show as a valuable opportunity to speak directly with everyone working in the development field from the perspective of sound production.
First time exhibiting, first time using our own construction methods.
Since we were going to exhibit anyway, we felt a strong desire to try doing the construction ourselves.
We decided to handle the construction ourselves.
There were several challenges we had to overcome, such as submitting design drawings and wiring diagrams, but we managed to overcome them and were able to carry out the construction ourselves, which is a huge achievement.
Since we were worried about assembling it on-site without prior testing, we actually built and tested the booth at SKYSQUARE in Yamanashi. This allowed us to proceed with the construction on-site without any problems, and the booth was successfully completed.
The fact that you can take it home as is and customize it again at your destination is also a fun aspect of it.

Contents displayed at the booth
Our booth is designed to allow visitors to see everything from "material recording" to "streamlining the recording process" for game sound, using videos, actual equipment, and materials.
Outdoor field studio "SKYSQUARE"
On the monitor at the front of the booth, videos were being played showcasing footage recorded at the outdoor field studio "SKYSQUARE," categorized as "HEAVY (heavy machinery recording)," "ELECTRIC (electric equipment recording)," and "ELEMENT (attribute recording)."
Sounds involving large amounts of physical energy, such as those from heavy machinery, electric equipment, and flames, are difficult to record in urban studios. I hope this video has given those who are wondering, "Where can I record these kinds of sounds?" a concrete image.
SKYSQUARE is currently accepting reservations . We welcome inquiries about recording, and we also welcome visits from those who simply want to see the location first!
Remote recording apps "RIGDRED" and "RIGDOCKS"
We also continued to exhibit "RIGDRED," the remote recording app that was first unveiled at CEDEC2026.
Because you can operate REAPER directly from your device, you can attend recording sessions and perform review work from a remote location.
We also introduced the "List" tab, which was particularly well-received at CEDEC and allows you to view Excel and spreadsheets on RIGDRED.
We also introduce "RIGDOCKS," the foundation of RIGDRED, through panels and materials. The development history of RIGDOCKS and RIGDRED is explained in detail in the article about the CEDEC2026 sponsor session .

Unveiling the 3D-printed rain cover Ver.3
In our CEDEC2026 article, we mentioned that we wanted to unveil Ver.3 of our 3D-printed equipment rain cover at Tokyo Game Show. As promised, we were able to exhibit Ver.3 at our booth.
In outdoor recording, a major challenge is how to protect equipment from sudden weather changes. We have conducted numerous tests and verifications, taking into account the feedback we received at CEDEC.

Scenes during the event
Day 1: I was interviewed by official media.
On the first day, the official Tokyo Game Show press team visited our booth for an interview. We talked about the exhibits and our thoughts on outdoor recording.

The booth that attracted many visitors
During the event, people from all walks of life stopped by our booth. Whether it was those who stopped to watch our videos or those who picked up our materials and asked detailed questions, the time we spent talking with each and every person was incredibly rewarding for us.

Behind the scenes of our Tokyo Game Show exhibit
I thought it might be helpful for those considering exhibiting at trade shows in the future, so I'd like to give you a little behind-the-scenes look at how we set up our booth this time.
Previous day: Booth setup
The day before the event, the members set up the booth. We enclosed the booth with a black pipe frame and blackout curtains, and created a space that would catch the eye even from the walkway with LED strip lights and the AZSTOKE logo sign.

Creating a booth to "let people listen to the sound"
As a sound company, the most important thing we prioritized was "letting people actually hear the sound."
We've placed speakers on either side of the monitor at the front, and headphones on the desks on both sides, so that you can experience the visuals and sound together. The subdued lighting in the space is also a way to help you concentrate on the visuals and sound.
The materials include a QR code so you can access more detailed information from the website right away.
Final day: Booth dismantling
After the final day, all the members pitched in to help with the dismantling. We packed away the blackout curtains, frames, and equipment one by one, and were able to successfully conclude the exhibition.
