We've picked out some noteworthy points from the press article to share with you!
■SKYSQUARE has released a tech demo titled "GRAVITY," which consists of recorded music.
All audio elements within the work are constructed using only sound sources recorded by the same studio, demonstrating the possibilities of sound expression in next-generation game development.
The film uses visuals and sound to depict objects crashing into their surroundings one after another, collapsing and falling, and the tremendous physical phenomena they cause.
In this work, we thoroughly pursued subtle nuances that can only be obtained through recording the actual objects, such as the overwhelming "sense of size" of the objects, the "variation in sound" that differs with each collision, and the raw "roughness" of metal rubbing against metal.
■ An unprecedented recording method using "1-ton class steel beams" and heavy machinery.
The recording was carried out using a dynamic method that defied the conventional wisdom of studio work: a Yanmar B7Σ excavator deployed on-site was used to lift the steel frame high into the air, and then a free fall was generated from that position.

The moment it hit the concrete ground, a tremendous, rumbling bass sound exploded in all directions, and the physical energy of the steel frame denting and warping was so great that it made the air vibrate.
We were only able to recreate the authentic impact sound of these "1-ton class masses" colliding in the vast acoustic space of our outdoor-focused studio, 'SKYSQUARE'.
■The overwhelming sense of presence emanating from ultra-low frequency vibrations. Successful recording of "earthquake" sounds using large woofers and power amplifiers.
We recorded a unique "earthquake" sound using a combination of the CLASSIC PRO CPW18II-4 woofer unit and the YAMAHA PC4002 power amplifier.

By directly transmitting the ultra-low frequency physical vibrations that cause the body to tremble, generated by a power amplifier, through a prefabricated house, resonance is created. The sound is then adjusted by shaking various nearby objects, and these vibrations are captured by a microphone to create an earthquake-like sound.
■ Recording environmental sounds of bad weather (rain and thunder) with relentless persistence, "lying in wait" for the weather.
To realistically fill GRAVITY's acoustic space with ambient sounds (rain, thunder), it was essential to use textures provided by genuine natural phenomena, rather than artificially created noise.

Natural phenomena such as rain and thunderstorms cannot be controlled by humans.
Therefore, the staff waited on-site, aiming for the moment when "ideal bad weather" would envelop the studio. They patiently waited until that moment arrived, capturing the sound of heavy rain hitting the ground and metal materials, and the realistic roar of lightning tearing through the air, in the highest possible quality.
■ All of this know-how will be fully revealed: Overview of sessions and booth exhibits at 'CEDEC2026'
Through the unconventional large-scale recording and meticulous sound adjustments implemented in this work, "GRAVITY," AZSTOKE Co., Ltd. will make publicly available, at "CEDEC2026," all of the specific data and technologies obtained during these recording processes, as well as the approaches taken to solve the challenges faced.
