This is Nakajima from AZSTOKE Co., Ltd.


This is the purpose of this project.

The 10th qualification is a highly difficult national qualification!!!


The qualifications I am trying to obtain are

Become a "Class 2 Electrician".

This is a national qualification and consists of a written exam and a practical exam, which are held twice a year.

I took the exam in the first half of the year and started working towards obtaining the qualification.


I believe that electricity is definitely an essential technology for the development of SKYSQUARE.

Without this qualification, you cannot perform electrical work. Since no practical experience is required to obtain this qualification, you can obtain it as long as you pass the exam, so it is one of the easier national qualifications to obtain.

However, since it is a national qualification, it is not easy.


The important thing here is that I don't want to be an electrician.

Please make sure that you do not misunderstand this.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not thinking about changing jobs.

I wanted to get a qualification to develop SKYSQUARE and game sound.

This is the main reason.


So what do you want to do?

There are a few electrical work I want to do.

You might say that I should just ask a professional to do it, but from what I can see now, it's not as simple as just asking a professional to do it.

I have come to this conclusion after thinking far into the future.

So let's think about it.

SKYSQUARE is 6,600 square meters in area.

Not all electrical work is done

If you outsource everything to a professional, the costs will be enormous.

Since I have the opportunity, I plan to take my time and explore the field thoroughly, and I believe that there may be something to be gained by obtaining the qualifications and understanding the work involved, so I would like to use this as an opportunity.


I have been involved in game sound development for about 15 years.

To further grow, we are confident that by incorporating new ideas based on experience and understanding in other industries, we will be able to open up an even new world of game sound.


To achieve this, my next goal is to obtain qualifications as an electrician!!!

I will try my best to pass it.

1. I applied right before the last day!

It was on April 7th that I first decided to obtain this Class 2 Electrician qualification in the first half of the year.

Today is the last day of the application period.

As my work life became increasingly busy, I began to worry about whether I would be able to study while also working on SKYSQUARE, and I was conflicted about whether I should wait until the second half of the year to get my electrical work qualification.

However, it's only held twice a year, so I might not be able to participate, but I'll try my best.

I applied right on the last day.

At this point in time, on April 7th, I have not studied at all.



2. I don’t know what to do, so I’ll sign up for a qualification course.


The course has arrived.

6 books + 2 textbooks

I didn't know what to do, so I searched for "electrician type 2" and registered and ordered what I found. Here is the image. There was a textbook for the written exam with corrected questions and photos. I decided to study this textbook at a pace of one book per week. The written exam is on 5/25, so I only have 7 weeks from 4/7, and since I have 6 books, I decided to finish one book per week and spend the last week reviewing.



3. Continue even if you only have a vague understanding

I study in the morning, after my regular work is done. There were a lot of calculation problems in the first and second books, and I honestly almost gave up trying to remember the formulas.

It's okay if I don't understand it, but I'm just going to keep going with the mindset that I'll just see it through.

※ I thought for sure I would forget this when I was doing this...



4. Find a YouTube channel with one week left

Even after finishing the six books and looking at past exam questions, I was honestly completely confused.

This might not work... I kind of understood the textbook, but in the end

I've gotten to the point where I have no idea what to do if someone asks me for details... It's over.

I was at a loss, so I decided to study by watching some study videos instead of just reviewing the textbook for the remaining week.

When I was searching online

I found this channel here:

Gamidenki Channel（ガミデンキちゃんねる）

I'll try watching some videos first.

This is where my understanding really takes off. I realized that I could understand everything that I hadn't learned from the textbook. Gami Denki Sensei is amazing!!! I decided to study the textbook when I wanted to review what I had learned from the video in written form.

If only I had found this sooner... I can't afford to say that, so for now I'll just watch as much as I can and study!!

The week before the exam is all about studying for the exam.

It feels like it's been a while since I've studied this much.



5. May 25th (Sunday) - Written exam day

Since I was working on SKYSQUARE at the same time, I decided to take the exam in Yamanashi. When applying, you can choose where to take the exam, so I chose Yamanashi.

In Yamanashi Prefecture, the exam was held at Yamanashi University.

I thought there would be about 20 people there, but it was probably as many as 200.

I was surprised at the number of people and wondered how many there would be in Tokyo.

It was then that I finally realized that as it is a national qualification, it is a popular qualification.



6. Completion of written exam

The written exam is over. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete the 2 hour exam.

If the session lasts more than an hour, you can leave early and do so by raising your hand.

With one week left of studying for the exam, I felt like I did pretty well, although not 100%. The convenient thing here is that you can take the test paper home with you.

If you write your answers properly on the question paper, you can check your answers.

This is because you will be able to see the results immediately and start preparing for the practical exam.



7. Check the answers

The official answers will be released the next day. Let's check the answers.

It's been a while since I felt this excited. Apparently the passing score changes every year, so it's not an absolute number.

If you get more than 60 points, you will pass the written exam.

8. Written test score: XX

Passed the written exam

A whopping 74 points !!!

I was able to pass the exam without any problems - I'm so glad!! I was relieved at first.

I still have a practical exam in July so I'll start preparing for that.



9. Importance and timing of qualifications

So far, I have obtained nine licenses to develop SKYSQUARE. As I have been able to do more, I have realized that those licenses can be utilized in a variety of areas.

Many people have obtained few licenses because they were originally certain that they would need them for this purpose, and many of them obtained them now with the thought that they might need them.

However, I realized that those licenses are still being utilized in the various tasks I perform now. I think the point here is to "remove restrictions."

・I could do it if I had this qualification. ・The exam to obtain this qualification is in six months.


This will happen when it is necessary, but of course it won't happen if you have the qualifications.

So what should we do?

If you think you can obtain the qualification after investigating the period and timing required to obtain it,

Even if it's not absolutely necessary, it's important to get it regularly.

Even if you want something, it won't come true right away, so it's important to realize you want it and make preparations before you even realize you want it.This will take a considerable amount of time, but if you recognize this as something you need to do on a regular basis and continue doing it every day, the accumulated power will transform it into a great force.

We understand this and believe that we must continue to do so in order to grow day by day. We will continue to do our utmost to expand SKYSQUARE.
