[Road of SKYSQUARE-030-] Soil Improvement!! ~Ground~

Hello

This is Nakajima from AZSTOKE Co., Ltd.

This is the purpose of this project.

We will prepare the ground through ground improvement work!!

This mud became a big problem in the previous blog " [Road of SKYSQUARE-029-] Emergency!! ~Mud Land~  "

The only way to solve this problem is to improve the ground, so this time we asked a contractor to do it.

I had one section handled.

We will then take various measures ourselves to ensure that prefabricated buildings can be placed on the prepared ground.

This time we will be reporting on the event.

The ground is mostly mud

1. Request ground improvement work from a contractor

This time, we asked a contractor to improve the ground only in this section. Professional work is amazing. We confirmed that the ground was flat, clean, and solid.

It's so beautifully made, I'd love to know how they managed to make it so flat.

However, we can now finally move forward.

2. Use a weed control sheet to prevent weeds from growing.

First, we put down a weed control sheet to prevent the grass from growing. We needed some manpower, so we asked our staff member, Takeda, to come and work on the weekend.

It's very helpful as it holds things up nicely.

I leave the weed control sheet to Takeda and head to the quarry in my truck to buy some crushed stone.

3. This will apparently make the ground even stronger!!

It seems that adding the following products when laying crushed stone will create a stronger foundation, so it is safe for a 10-ton truck to drive on.

After struggling with the mud, I wanted to prevent the tires from getting lost again.

We decided to try putting this in here.

*I don't know how effective it will be, but when I imagine adding crushed stone, it certainly looks strong, so I decided to introduce it.

Since the excavator will be moving around, the ground needs to be strong enough to withstand the movement of an 8-ton excavator, so simply improving the ground alone is questionable, so we will make it even stronger by adding crushed stone and this product.

Stabilizer installation

4. Install on top of the weed control sheet

Place the stabilizer neatly on top of the weed control sheet and wrap crushed stone on top of it.

As usual, we purchased RC40 crushed stone by truck and placed it into the diamond-shaped stabilizer. This seems to help the ground to be firmly compacted.

5. Install weed control sheets near the entrance

Here too, we lay down a weed control sheet and wrap it with crushed stone. Because cars will be driving through the area, if we leave it as it is, there will be tire marks and excavator tracks, so we have to put in the gravel.

6. After wrapping the crushed stone, compact it

Now that we have finally rolled out the minimum amount of crushed stone, we will use a compact plater to compact it thoroughly.

We continue to apply compaction.

When I first used the compact plater, it got completely stuck on the soil and I had a lot of trouble. This time, I was using crushed stone, and it was a piece of equipment used for compacting in situations like this.

The previous one was simply wrong...

7. It's finally ready!!!

After repeatedly rolling crushed stone and compacting it, the area was finally, at a minimum, ready to welcome the container house.

It was long.

After clearing the land, which was overgrown with trees, and improving the ground, we finally got to this point.

Next time we will finally install the prefabricated building!!!

We will continue to forge ahead on the path of SKYSQUARE.

Finally, it's ready!!!
At the very least, it's ready
